THE STUNNING PEROLNIYOC WATERFALL

The tour to Perolniyoc Archaeological Site starts with pick up from your hotel at approximately 8 am. Then, we will go through the route of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in an approximate time of 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will arrive at the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo (2,792 meters/9,160 feet), we will make a small stop to use the public baths and to buy some snacks before starting the walk towards Racaypata. Then, we will continue on our way to the small village of Socma (3,250 meters/10,662 feet) which is approximately 25 minutes away.

Afterward, the walk begins towards the Racaypata Archaeological Center (3,646 meters/ 11,961 feet). During the journey, we will appreciate the daily life of the inhabitants of the area, crops, etc. In addition, Our guide will explain about the function that had in ancient times Perolniyoc Archaeological Site. For example, its construction is based on stones and mud. Finally, after the visit, we will begin the descent through the Andean landscapes towards the spectacular Perolniyoc Waterfall (3,460 meters/ 11,351 feet).

Remember, the waterfall has a drop altitude of 35 meters, so if you are excited, you can take a dip in the crystal clear waters of Perolniyoc. You will also enjoy the views of the landscape and some typical birds of the Sacred Valley.

Finally, we will return to Urubamba town (2,871 meters/9,419 feet). In the meantime, we will enjoy our box lunch and return to Cusco to leave it at your hotel. This is the end of our tour to Perolniyoc.
