ITINERARY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY WITH HUACHUMA CEREMONY  8D/7N

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO – INKA MUSEUM AND KORICANCHA

Our 8-Day Spiritual Journey with Huachuma Ceremony – Mystical Tours in Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, starts with your arrival to the City of Cusco, where our staff will await you to make the shuttle from the airport to hotel. The rest of the morning will be reserved for resting to adapt to the altitude, approximately 3400 meters (11,000 feet).

In the afternoon we will visit the Inka Museum, home to thousands of years of Andean culture. Here we will become more familiar with the origins of Andean civilizations. Continuing with the tours in Cusco, we will move on to the temple of Koricancha, the famous Sun Temple of Qosqo that was and still remains the pinnacle of organization, architecture, and religion of the Inka civilization. Here we will learn why this temple may have represented the center of centers, or “Navel of the World” according to the ancient Andean cosmovision.

DAY 2: SAQSAYHUAMAN – TEMPLE OF THE MOON.

We will begin our day with the journey to Saqsayhuaman. The magnificent quality of this Inka architecture with its colossal stones is considered one of the greatest constructions in humanity’s history on the face of the Earth. From here we will continue on to the Temple of the Moon, a place for spiritual connection and encounter with the feminine energy of the Moon Goddess.

Here you will have your first opportunity to connect with Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the energies of the Andes. At the same time we will also introduce you to the Karpay ritual.

In the afternoon we will travel by car to Cusco.

DAY 3: CHINCHERO – HUACHUMA CEREMONY (SAN PEDRO)

Continuing with our 8-Day Spiritual Journey with Huachuma Ceremony, we start our day very early, beginning with a tour of the sacred temples and altars in Chinchero (also known as the rainbow community), followed by a full day of ceremony and deep connection with the master teacher plan Wachuma.

This ceremony is a perfect opportunity to begin your personal journey of cleaning, healing, and purifying on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Bringing us into a profound state of meditation and self-reflection we may communicate with the one divine consciousness, gifting us the revelations needed to live in a greater state of harmony and joy. A full day of ceremony in sacred space and time!

DAY 4: CHINCHERO – TEXTILE INTERPRETATION CENTER – MARAS & MORAY – MACHU PICCHU

In the morning we will participate in a rich introduction and learning experience in the art of Andean textiles, becoming acquainted with the wisdom of Andean weavings as maintained since long before Inka times. Continuing by car to Moray, an ancient construction designed for agricultural investigations and studies of different crops in a range of altitudes and micro-climates.

Our last visit will be to the Salt Mines of Maras, made up of about 3,000 small wells with an area average size of about 5 m². This salt mine has been used for thousands of years and was a very important economic element in Inca times. We will learn the recollection method and about the lives of the two families who work there.

In the afternoon we will travel by car to the town of Ollantaytambo and to the train station for our transfer to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes).

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU

After making some cultural and spiritual tours, this is an important day, that is why we will rise very early for breakfast and ascend to the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu in time to appreciate the sunrise in this magical place. A famous masterpiece of architecture and engineering believed to have been a sanctuary and energetic center. Today Machu Picchu is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site and also is considered one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. We will spend the rest of the morning visiting the many temples, altars, and viewpoints.

Optional: The trek to the peak of Huayna Picchu, a rigorous climb on steep trails with impressive ruins and spectacular views – a round-trip of 2 hours.

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO – PISAQ – ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Continuing with our tours, today in the morning we will return from Machu Picchu to living Inka town of Ollantaytambo by train and then continue by car through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas to the village of Pisaq. From here we will ascend the mountain to the ancient temple of Pisaq, a large archaeological site covering an entire mountain, built in the shape of a condor.

Leaving Pisaq we will visit the Animal Sanctuary of Cochahuasi where we can observe more closely many of the native Andean species such as the puma, Andean condor, alpacas, and many more.

DAY 7: QUILLARUMIYOQ – ANDEAN CEREMONY WITH HUACHUMA (SAN PEDRO)

Continuing with our 8-Day Spiritual Journey with Huachuma Ceremony, it is time to go to Quillarumiyoq, which is an ancient temple dedicated to the Moon Goddess and other feminine essences of Mother Earth. Located in the valley of Ankawasi (House of the Eagle) with views of rural agricultural communities and nestled at the foothills of the Salkantay mountain range, a traditional Andean priest will accompany us for the “despacho” (offering) ceremony, where we will have the opportunity to express our prayers and gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus, the guardian spirits of the mountains.

This ceremony is also another opportunity to go deeper into our spiritual essences, to continue to heal and harmonize while liberating or transforming all heavy energy we have accumulated through our experiences in life and make way for more light energy, expanding our personal awareness and consciousness into higher vibrations.

DAY 8: CUSCO – WALKING CITY TOUR OR FREE MORNING – AFTERNOON FLIGHT TO LIMA

Option: Free morning to relax or free walking tour. The walking tour will visit the following places:

• Plaza Nazarenas
• San Blas neighborhood
• The twelve angle stone
• San Pedro local market

This afternoon transfer to the airport for your departure to Lima or another place.
