After breakfast, we will start the day by picking her up from her hotel to go to the picturesque village of Chinchero (3,762 meters/12,342 feet), «The village of the Rainbow». There we will admire the temple of Chinchero and extensive Inca constructions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in the process of making fine Andean textiles.

Continuing our tour, we will visit the gigantic circular terraces of Moray (3,500 meters / 11,483 feet), a sample of the advanced Inca agricultural engineering.

We will then descend to the Maras salt mines (3,500 meters / 11,483 feet), where you will find more than 3,000 salt wells that have been used for human consumption since pre-Inca times.

Finally, in the afternoon, we will board our train from Ollantaytambo train station (2,792 meters/ 9,160 feet) bound for the village of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu village (2,050 meters/ 6,725 feet), gateway to one of the most appreciated treasures of humanity: Machu Picchu.

This day we will wake up early for breakfast, and then board one of the first buses that will take us from Aguas Calientes to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu (2,430 m / 7,972 ft).

After presenting our ticket and passport at the entrance, our guide will begin his explanation of the history of this Inca wonder while we travel the most important sectors of Machu Picchu as the classic viewpoint, the Guardian House, the viewpoint of the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock or the Set of Water Mirrors.

At the end of your guided tour, you will have time to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, if you have purchased the entrance ticket corresponding to any of these places. These extra routes in Machu Picchu are an optional activity, have an additional cost, and must be booked in advance due to limited space.

After finishing the visit to the wonder of the world, you will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). Later, you will board the train to return to Ollantaytambo and finally arrive on our private transport to your accommodation in Cusco city.

After having breakfast in the vicinity of the village of Cusipata, we will continue the journey in our transport to the starting point of the hike in Phuluwasipata (4,626 meters /15,177 feet). After a walk of approximately 2 hours between high Andean landscapes we will reach our destination in the Mountain of Colors or Vinicunca (5,020 meters / 16,466 feet). We will pause for about 30 minutes to enjoy the landscape, have a snack, and absorb the energy of the mountains from this considerable altitude.

Afterward, we will go down the same road until we return to the starting point, where we will board our transport. After a short trip, we will return to the place where we have breakfast, but this time for lunch.

Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco during the afternoon.
