Our 9-Day Tour with San Pedro and Ayahuasca Ceremony starts with your arrival to the City of Cusco, where our staff will await you to make the shuttle from the airport to hotel. The rest of the morning will be reserved for resting to adapt to the altitude, approximately 3400 meters (11,000 feet).

DAY 2: SAQSAYHUAMAN - TEMPLE OF THE MOON - TRANSFER TO CHINCHERO

We will begin our day with the journey to Saqsayhuaman. The magnificent quality of this Inka architecture with its colossal stones is considered one of the greatest constructions in humanity’s history on the face of the Earth. DAY 4: CHINCHERO - TEXTILE INTERPRETATION CENTER - MARAS & MORAY

In the morning we will participate in a rich introduction and learning experience in the art of Andean textiles, becoming acquainted with the wisdom of Andean weavings as maintained since long before Inka times. Continuing by car to Moray, an ancient construction designed for agricultural investigations and studies of different crops in a range of altitudes and micro-climates.

Our last visit will be to the Salt Mines of Maras, made up of about 3,000 small wells with an area average size of about 5 m². This salt mine has been used for thousands of years and was a very important economic element in Inca times. We will learn the recollection method and about the lives of the two families who work there.

In the afternoon we will travel by car to the town of Ollantaytambo and to the train station for our transfer to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes).

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU

After made some cultural and spiritual tours, this is an important day, that is why we will rise very early for breakfast and ascend to the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu in time to appreciate the sunrise in this magical place. Continuing with our 9-Day Mystical Tour in Cusco and Amazon with San Pedro and Ayahuasca Ceremony, today is a good time for a free morning to relax, or also you can join us for a free walking tour. The walking tour will visit the following places:

This afternoon transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Puerto Maldonado.

After arriving in the city of Puerto Maldonado, there will be transportation from the airport to the Madre de Dios River to board a motorized boat to travel to our Amazonian lodge. On the way, a Naturalist Interpreter will give us a short informative talk as we look for a variety of native animal species, and observe how the vegetation changes from colonized deforested areas to the National Reserve. We will have a box lunch on the boat.

Once we arrive at the Lodge, we will receive a briefing by the lodge manager who will also provide some tips and useful information to have a better stay. There will be the option before dinner to explore the nature trails around the lodge.

DAY 7: FULL DAY AT THE LODGE, RAINFOREST IMMERSION WITH AYAHUASCA CEREMONY

Today we will start with the amazon tour, that is why we will wake up early in the morning to leave the lodge and adventure out onto the jungle trails and appreciate the abundance of wildlife and diversity of vegetation that is the Amazon rainforest at dawn, as all life is just awakening. After returning to the lodge, we will enjoy our breakfast between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., followed by a short break. At 9:30 a.m, we will visit and learn about the local farmland use and crop management.

We will return for lunchtime and then have the rest of the afternoon free to rest or to roam the property of the lodge and be in the forest. There will be no dinner tonight in preparation for the Ayahuasca ceremony.

DAY 8: SECOND DAY OF AMAZON IMMERSION AND AYAHUASCA CEREMONY

Free morning until breakfast between 8 am-9 am. Today will be another day to do a tour and appreciate the natural beauty of the Amazon rainforest, enjoying the trails and attractions around the Nature Reserve of the Lodge. Enjoy a canoe paddle through the lakes to observe wildlife such as monkeys, caimans, turtles, and a wealth of bird species.

After lunch, the afternoon will be free, either to continue roaming the jungle pathways or rest. Tonight’s Ayahuasca ceremony is optional, only for those who feel called to return.

Dinner in the evening for those not in Ayawaska Ceremony.

After a special breakfast, there will be time with the shaman to discuss your experience and answer any questions you may have. We will depart the lodge by boat back to the city of Puerto Maldonado where will have our last lunch together before departing from the airport in Puerto Maldonado to board your flight back to Lima.

Do I need a Visa to enter Peru?

With a few exceptions (notably some Asian, African and Communist countries), Visa is not required for travelers entering Peru.
