The Lares Trek, also known as the “Weavers route“, is a famous and appreciated trek in Cusco, Peru. This route offers a different and authentic experience to the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

The local people still maintain their traditions, the Quechua language and harmonious relationship with nature. Furthermore, hikers can immerse themselves in Andean culture, learn about the history of the ancient Incas, and also witness the traditional ways of people’s life within the Peruvian Andes.
