Itinerary

Cusco – Tauca – Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Cusco

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 6:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. and head to the picturesque town of Chinchero, passing through traditional Andean farmlands that still preserve ancestral agricultural practices. Then we’ll skirt the tranquil Piuray Lagoon until we reach the community of  Tauca (3,762 m / 12,343 ft), the starting point of our hike.

At Huchuy Qosqo, we’ll take a short snack break and explore its ceremonial temples, agricultural terraces, and sophisticated Inca canals — all with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. After the guided visit, enjoy a box lunch surrounded by this unique blend of history and nature.

Afterward, we’ll descend to the town of Lamay (2,938 m / 9,639 ft), where our private transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, wrapping up a memorable day filled with history, nature, and living culture.
