Itinerary

Chinchero, Maras & Moray Tour with Picnic

After pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m., we’ll head toward the heart of the Sacred Valley. Our first stop is Chinchero (3,754 m / 12,316 ft), a picturesque Andean town known for its living textile traditions. You’ll visit a weaving center where local women demonstrate, step by step, the ancestral process of spinning, dyeing with native plants, and handweaving passed down through generations.

We’ll continue to Moray (3,500 m / 11,482 ft), a unique archaeological site made up of concentric circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with microclimates and adapt crops. The next stop is the Maras Salt Pans (3,380 m / 11,089 ft), an impressive network of more than 3,000 terraced pools on a mountainside, where salt is still harvested by hand using pre-Columbian techniques.

Finally, we’ll move to a quiet natural spot to enjoy a private Andean picnic, accompanied by llamas and mountain views. Savor local products in a relaxed setting with privileged vistas. After lunch, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of the Sacred Valley.
