It represents the &#8216;Kay Pacha&#8217;, Quechua word that means &#8216;the world of the living&#8217;. The condor, symbolizing righteousness, was considered the most sacred bird by the Incas. Many consider the condor as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inkayniperutours.com\/blog\/the-flight-of-the-condor\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><b>the Andes King of Cusco<\/b><\/a><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Unfortunately this flying animal is in danger of extinction. This was so cherished that in Inca society only royalty was permitted to wear clothing made from vicu\u00f1as. It is a South American member of the camel family, Camelidae (order Artiodactyla), closely related to the alpaca, guanaco, and vicu\u00f1a, which are known collectively as lamoids.
